1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
1 freshly grated nutmeg
4 cinnamon sticks
Shot of brandy or orange liquor
1 coffee mug of orange or lemon hot tea
2 oranges sliced
2 lemons sliced
1 bottle of Merlot, Burgundy or Beaujolais
Heat water and sugar in sauce pan until boiling and sugar is dissolved.
Turn heat to med and add tea, spices, orange slices, and liquor. Heat for 5-10 minutes.
Turn heat to med low and add lemons and wine, be careful not to let wine boil.
Warm for 10 minutes until hot to the touch.
Serve in a mug with a cinnamon stick or candy cane as garnish.
