1 flank steak
1 head garlic, chopped
2 loaves bread, sourdough or French, smaller circumference is better
Slice flank steak into small strips.
Put steak in Tupperware or Ziploc bag and cover with olive oil and the chopped garlic, season with salt and pepper.
Marinate overnight or a few hours. Note if you marinate overnight olive oil will harden, just leave out for 10-15 minutes before using.
Slice bread into rounds and brush with garlic olive oil mixture.
Top with a piece of sliced steak and place on cookie sheet.
Broil in oven just until steak is done.
Watch to make sure bread does not burn.
